Q: How often should my AC be serviced in Dhaka?
A: Every 6 months for standard residential ACs. Every 4 months for ACs near cooking areas or in construction-active areas. Every 3 months for restaurant and commercial kitchen ACs.
Q: My AC is not cooling — does this always mean I need gas refill?
A: No. The majority of AC cooling problems are caused by contaminated coils or blocked drains — not gas shortage. Our technician checks coil condition and measures refrigerant pressure before recommending anything.
Q: What is the difference between AC servicing and AC jet wash?
A: AC servicing is a complete system service — coil cleaning, drain clearing, blower cleaning and condenser cleaning. AC jet wash uses high-pressure water to deep-clean the evaporator coil. Both are valuable for different levels of contamination.

Q: My fridge stopped cooling suddenly — is this the compressor?
A: Not necessarily. Sudden cooling failure is most commonly caused by a failed start relay rather than the compressor itself. Our technician diagnoses the specific fault before recommending any repair.
Q: Do you repair both front-load and top-load washing machines?
A: Yes. We repair all washing machine types — front-load, top-load and semi-automatic — for all brands. We also diagnose all error codes.
Home Cleaning
Q: What does a full home cleaning service include?
A: Full home cleaning covers every room — vacuuming and mopping all floors, cleaning all surfaces, windows, fans, light fittings and all furniture surfaces. Kitchen and bathroom deep cleaning can be included or booked separately.
Q: Is sofa cleaning safe for children and pets?
A: Yes. All cleaning products we use are non-toxic and safe for children and pets once dry — typically within 2 to 4 hours of service completion.
Q: How long does a full home cleaning take?
A: A 2-bedroom apartment takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. A 3-bedroom apartment takes 5 to 7 hours.
Water Tank Cleaning
Q: How often should I clean my water tank in Dhaka?
A: Every 6 months for standard residential tanks. Every 4 months for tanks in construction-active areas. Every 3 months for commercial food service establishments.
Q: Can a contaminated water tank cause health problems?
A: Yes — directly. A contaminated tank introduces bacteria, algae and biological sludge into your household water supply used for drinking, cooking and bathing.
Q: My water has a strange smell — could the tank be the cause?
A: Yes. Unusual taste or smell in tap water is far more likely to originate from a contaminated building tank than from the WASA supply.

Q: What does Service Wala's house shifting service include?
A: Packing materials, furniture wrapping and protection, furniture disassembly and reassembly, appliance safe transport, vehicle transport and placement at the destination.
Q: How far in advance should I book house shifting?
A: 5 to 7 days for standard moves. 10 to 14 days for end-of-month dates.
