A software development company in Sector 6 of Uttara was moving to a larger office in Sector 11 — the team of 35 developers had been expanding into every available corner of the Sector 6 space and the new Sector 11 office offered twice the floor area. The specific challenge was the IT infrastructure — the software company had a dedicated server room with 4 racks of development servers, multiple network switches and a UPS system that had to arrive at the new location and be reconnected within the weekend window so the development team could resume work Monday morning. Our office shifting team coordinated with the company's IT manager, Mr. Nasimul, before the move date — planning the server room pack-out sequence and the reconnection sequence at the destination. The servers were shut down in the planned sequence Friday evening, packed with vibration protection and transported with the racks as intact units where the rack dimensions permitted.
