1. Chuna Ceiling — Islamic Board (PVC Gypsum Board Ceiling)
Islamic board ceiling — known locally as chuna ceiling — is the most popular ceiling type for residential homes in Bangladesh. The material provides a smooth, clean finish that accepts paint beautifully and gives any room a finished, formal appearance.
What we do:
Our installation team measures the room precisely before cutting any board — ensuring the grid layout is centered and symmetrical in the room rather than starting from one wall and leaving unequal cuts at the other. This centering is what separates professional installation from amateur work — the difference is visible in the finished ceiling when you stand in the doorway and look across the room.
The framework is installed level throughout — checking with spirit level across every section before boards are fixed. An unlevel framework produces a ceiling that appears to tilt toward one wall, which is visually uncomfortable even if the tilt is too small to measure easily.
Boards are cut cleanly and fitted with tight joints. Joints are taped and filled before painting — producing a seamless surface rather than visible grid lines across the ceiling.
All finishing — corner beading, edge treatment and surface preparation for paint — is completed before our team leaves. The ceiling is paint-ready on handover.

2. Plastic Ceiling — PVC Panel Ceiling
PVC plastic ceiling panels are the preferred ceiling solution for kitchens, bathrooms, covered balconies, shops and any space where moisture resistance is a priority. Unlike board ceilings, PVC panels do not absorb moisture, do not support mold growth and can be wiped clean — making them the practical choice for wet or high-humidity environments.
What we do:
PVC panel selection — we advise on panel thickness and surface finish appropriate for the specific space. Bathroom ceilings require a different panel specification from a shop ceiling — the humidity exposure, the lighting requirements and the aesthetic expectation all differ.
Framework installation uses aluminum or galvanized steel channels rather than wood — preventing the warping and termite issues that wood framework develops in Bangladesh's humidity over time. This is the installation detail that determines whether a PVC ceiling looks the same in 5 years as it did on installation day.
Panel layout is planned before installation begins — ensuring the panel joints align symmetrically in the room and the border panels on opposite walls are equal width. Asymmetric border panels are the most common installation error and the most obvious one to anyone looking up at the finished ceiling.
LED lighting integration — where required, lighting channels are incorporated into the framework before panels are installed, not retrofitted afterward. Clean integration produces a finished result that retrofitting cannot match.

Why Ceiling Installation Quality Matters More Than Most People Think
A ceiling installed incorrectly creates problems that worsen over time — not problems that stay the same.
Sagging panels develop when framework spans are too wide or panels are not supported at the correct intervals. A panel that is slightly bowed on installation day is visibly sagging 6 months later.
Visible joints appear when board edges are not taped and filled before painting. The joint is invisible on installation day when the fill is fresh. Six months of temperature cycling opens the joint and it becomes visible through the paint.
Unlevel framework is immediately apparent when you look from one end of the room to the other. It cannot be corrected after panels are installed without removing everything and starting again.
Water damage to board ceilings in kitchens and bathrooms occurs when the wrong material is installed in a moisture environment. The board absorbs moisture, softens and eventually sags or fails entirely.

Step 1 — Site Assessment

Step 2 — Quotation
A clear, itemized quotation is provided after the assessment. Material cost and labor cost are stated separately. No surprises after work begins.
Step 3 — Material Selection
We advise on the appropriate material grade for your specific space and budget. We do not use substandard materials to reduce quotation cost — the quality of the installation is determined by the quality of the framework and panels, not just the labor.
Step 4 — Installation
Framework is installed first — fully level, correctly spaced and secured to the existing structure. Panels or boards are installed after framework is verified. All cutting, fitting and jointing is completed before any finishing work begins.
Step 5 — Finishing and Handover
All joints are filled, edges are treated and the installation is inspected before handover. The space is cleaned of installation debris before our team leaves.
