A family in Wari owned a Honda City that had been parked under a large tree near their building for several months. The car's roof, bonnet and boot had accumulated tree sap deposits — small amber droplets that had hardened on the paint surface over time. Tree sap on paint is one of the most damaging contamination types — it bonds chemically to the clear coat and if left untreated, etches into the paint surface permanently. When our car wash team arrived at their Wari building parking, the tree sap deposits were treated with appropriate tar and sap remover before the main wash — the solvent-based remover dissolved the hardened sap without affecting the underlying paint. After sap removal, foam wash and microfiber finish, the bonnet and roof surfaces were clear.
