A family near ECB Chattar in Pallabi had a white Walton EV that had been scratched by another vehicle in a parking area — the scratch ran across the front passenger door, going through the clear coat and base coat but not to the primer. Walton EV paint — a local brand vehicle — has specific paint chemistry that differs from Japanese or European brands, and the white formula varies slightly from the standard white codes used by international brands. Our painter identified the Walton paint code from the vehicle sticker, mixed the formula and performed spray-out testing against the existing Walton white. The formula required slight adjustment — the Walton white had a cooler, bluer white than initially mixed. After adjustment, the door was prepared, painted and blended at the A and B pillar trim lines. Mr. Chowdhury examined the door in outdoor light and gave us a five-star review noting that Walton vehicles were often left unrepaired because local body shops were unfamiliar with the brand — our handling of the repair had been impressive.
