A family near DIT Road in Rampura had a Nissan Sunny where the ABS warning light had come on and stayed on — the ABS system was deactivated and the standard brake system was operational but without anti-lock function. ABS warning lights are caused by wheel speed sensor faults, ABS module issues or hydraulic system faults. Our technician read the ABS fault codes — a wheel speed sensor fault on the rear right wheel was stored. The rear right wheel speed sensor was inspected — the sensor was intact but the reluctor ring on the axle shaft had a crack that was causing erratic speed signals.
