A young professional in Aftabnagar Phase 1 had a Honda City that had a specific tyre problem — a slow puncture in the rear left tyre that required reinflating every 4 to 5 days. He had been managing the slow puncture with a portable inflator but had been putting off addressing it. Our technician demounted the rear left tyre, performed a water bath inspection and found a small nail embedded in the tread — the nail head was visible externally but the tyre had self-sealed partially around the nail shank, producing the slow rather than rapid deflation.
